The cold May weather is very confusing. This time last year the strawberries were growing, this year they’re still flowering. It was lovely to be on the plot even though it was a bit chilly. Two swans clucking and clanking and making a great big noise flew overhead. This was a great up lifting sight. I’m behind on keeping the grass short. On the menu: bunches of purple sprouting broccoli, leeks, and artichoke hearts, chives, oregano, thyme, rosemary, wild garlic or at least wandering, parsley and cress and plenty of rhubarb.
